Appointments

Students are generally seen by appointment.

Student Health Center attempts to accommodate walk-ins, but you may be asked to schedule a later appointment if nothing is available at that time.

You can make an appointment online or by calling 301-687-4310.

Medical Absence Excuses

Medical excuses are not provided.

It is advised that students schedule appointments for a time that does not conflict with their classes. The student is responsible for meeting each instructor's requirements regarding class attendance.

Missing class due to a routine illness such as a cold, should be discussed with your faculty member. Student Health Center does not give medical excuses for these types of illness or due to appointments with the Student Health Center that could have been scheduled at other times.

If you miss class because of a scheduled appointment, you can use your receipt as verification for the appointment, however, it will NOT indicate that your absence was justified.

Under no circumstances will we verify illness or absence for anyone not treated by staff.
