Smoking Cessation

The smoking/tobacco cessation program at Student Health Center is available to students to increase awareness of the risks associated with tobacco use and the benefits of quitting. Assistance will be provided to the student who is trying to quit tobacco use through counseling and nicotine replacement products and/or medication. Counseling and periodic contact will be provided to promote continued success and prevention of relapse. If grant money is not available to provide nicotine replacement products (NPR's) and/or medication free of charge, other options will be discussed with the student.
